Our booking window goes live on Sundays at 5pm ET. Classes are available to be booked online through the END of the following Monday. The online schedule will always reflect the most up to date information regarding substitutions and cancellations.
Booking With Friends
Riding with friends is super fun. Friends still need to register individually online and book their own bike.
Booking For Clients
Booking multiple bikes in a class is very easy. If you wish to book a bike for you and client(s), you can do so directly via the website.
Each registered client has a unique referral link which they can find under DASHBOARD > MY REFERRALS. We then encourage clients to copy their referral link and share it with others in a separate email from their own email account to avoid junk filters.
In order to receive credit for a referral, new clients MUST 1) register for a B/SPOKE account by clicking your referral link and then 2) take a PAID class. Once these two steps are completed, the system will process the referral within 24 hours. Please note: Referrals that are NOT setup via the unique referral link will not be processed automatically.
Thank you for coming, but please:
1. NO cell phones allowed in class. It distracts others and also takes away from your own experience. Unplugging for 45 minutes out of an entire day can be very therapeutic and is such a small price to pay.
2. If you MUST leave class early for any reason, please tell the instructor ahead of time or signal to them on your way out that you’re OK and nothing is wrong.
3. If you choose to stay for the end of class stretch period, please stay for the whole part.
4. Wear clean clothes. Sweaty people...elbow to elbow…enough said.
5. Shower quickly when possible. There's nothing like a shower after an intense workout but please try to limit your shower time to a maximum of five minutes so other people can have a chance to rinse off and get back to their lives ON TIME!
We launched The Lab in our Wellesley studio because as the industry continues to evolve, people want more variety in their fitness routines. The Lab is a separate room loaded with special lighting features, killer sound, form-watching mirrors, weights, and mats for a variety of class formats that we are currently developing. The first workout offered in The Lab is TRAIN. We look forward to introducing new programs in the future!
Set to an ever-evolving playlist, TRAIN is a high intensity off-the-bike class that focuses on matching movements to the beat of the music in order to build strength across all major muscle groups. The class is fast-paced and designed not only to condition, but also reduce the risk of injury, and improve mobility while reducing anxiety and stress. Throughout the class, you’ll be challenged by interval and resistance training, body weight exercises, anaerobic bursts and more.

With special lighting features and a killer playlist, TRAIN works on building strength across all major body parts through fast-paced interval and resistance training, body weight exercises, and anaerobic bursts. Hints of Barre, Boxing, Yoga, and MArtial Arts are all blended together to provide a range of workout techniques. Everything we do at B/SPOKE is rooted in music and matching purposeful movements to the beat – TRAIN is no exception. TRAIN blends a range of techniques, so you’ll see hints of Barre, Boxing, Yoga, Martial Arts, blended with traditional weight training and more to create a full body workout.
The class is 50-minutes long, which includes a dynamic warm-up, cool down and stretch.
If a class is full, you can join the waitlist. Joining the waitlist is like signing up for class. One credit in your account is needed. As bikes become available they will be automatically allocated to the waitlist on a first come, first served basis. If you are allocated a bike through the waitlist you will be notified by email. Please make sure you cancel your place if you no longer wish to be on the waitlist for a class. You can do this at any point online without penalty via My Account > My Classes, unless you have already been added to the class from the waitlist. Once you are assigned a bike, the normal cancellation policy is in effect. If no bikes become available by the start of the class, the credit will be returned to your account.
Please note, we open up empty bikes to waitlisted riders starting 3 minutes before class. If your name gets called out and you are not in the studio, you will be counted as a No Show and penalized depending on your credit package.
If a waitlist reaches 25 riders, the class will be designated as FULL on the schedule and unavailable until space on the waitlist becomes available.
For the safest and most effective B/SPOKE ride, we require riders to wear "clip in" shoes. Clipping in results in a more efficient transfer of power with each pedal stroke. It also allows riders to safely spend more time out of the saddle targeting the core and other key muscle groups. You are more than welcome to bring your own shoes if they are compatible with our bikes. Either way, shoe rentals are complimentary. Please see above regarding compatibility of different types of cleats.
There’s no need to bring your own lock. Our guest lockers have coded locks to keep your stuff safe. Follow the simple instructions on the back of the locker door or ask the front desk for help.
No matter how much water you drink beforehand, you’re gonna need more during class. We have a free purified refilling station and also sell bottles of water at the front desk. Bottled water costs $2 and 5 cents of every dollar sold gets donated to the Women Working for Oceans organization in partnership with the New England Aquarium. At B/SPOKE, we strive to be as ecologically conscious as possible so encourage you to bring your own reusable bottle to help reduce our plastic bottle refuse.
Our showers and separate changing areas are equipped with amazing bath products. There are also plenty of towels, hairdryers, straighteners, and other beauty products available, so you can head back to the office or out on the town looking and smelling great.
For riders on any type of unlimited package, you will incur a $10 fee for Late Cancellations and $20 for No Shows. Riders on all other packages will lose the credit use to book the class.
You can always modify the movements we do during class in order to accomodate body injuries. Please check with the front desk if you would like to use 1 LB weights during class.
You can cancel a class online (DASHBOARD > MY CLASSES) or by calling the studio without penalty up to 12 hours before the start of class.
For Downtown Boston
PO Square: $9 after 4PM
101 Federal Street Garage: $10 after 5PM
PO Square: $9 all day
33 Arch St: $5 for 12 hours (with validation)
There is plenty of metered parking spaces directly outside the studio but we encourage our riders, during peak retail hours (10 - 5pm), to take advantage of one of the nearby parking lots and to avoid parking directly off Central Street. Please note that parking is FREE on Sundays. We also recommend downloading the ParkBoston app and setting up an account to pay with a CC versus worrying about having quarters!
The studio also has a back entrance off Church Street (shared with HYP studio) which makes parking in the Waban Street parking lot very easy.
Upon arrival, check in with an attendant at the front desk. We ask that you arrive and check in at least 3 minutes prior to class time. After this time, your bike may be released to someone on the waitlist or a walk-in. If you know you are running late, please give us a call. Please note the absolute latest we let anyone enter class is five minutes after the official start of class, even if you have already checked in.
We value the role of technology and the numerous benefits when measuring all your progress and hard work. Our bikes are equipped to track your performance while you ride and upload all your data for you to review later on from the privacy of your computer or smartphone. If you don’t already have your own Heart Rate Monitor (ANT+), borrow one from the front desk. You can access your data from the Dashboard in ‘My Performance’.
Drink lots of water before, during, and after your class. Staying hydrated is a BIG part of staying healthy.
Eat a small snack 45 minutes before class. Exercising on a very full or empty stomach is not recommended.
Wear comfortable clothes designed for exercise (NOT street clothes!). Our program has you frequently moving off and on the bike seat, so baggy bottoms are NOT recommended. Fitted biking shorts with padded liners are ideal, if you have them. We sell workout gear (including socks!) if you happen to forget your own.
Yes! All of our bikes are compatible with SPD cleats. In our Wellesley studio, the FRONT ROW and SIDE BAR bikes are dual compatible with SPD and LOOK Delta cleats.
Our program will have you moving in ways you never thought possible. That's what makes B/SPOKE fun and effective! So please remember to check that all your adjusted bike settings are tightly screwed into place and that your shoes feel securely clipped to the pedals. Instructors are there to push you to do your best. But always listen to your body, and adjust resistance accordingly during class so you can keep pace in a safe way. Don’t forget to stretch and hydrate after class!
