LOCATION: DOWNTOWN BOSTON + WELLESLEY

 

POSITION: PART TIME

 

DESCRIPTION:  Our clients come to the studio for many different reasons: To feel better, get stronger, lose a little weight, or even just shake off some pent up stress.  Whatever the motivation, our Front Desk team is responsible for ensuring clients leave with a favorable / positive experience every time.  Beyond hospitality and customer service, Front Desk staff also support the smooth operation of the studio.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Provide high level customer service to clients

Assist studio management in daily tasks and projects

Provide support to B/SPOKE instructors

Facilitate successful class check-in process

Be helpful, efficient, and proactive

Be a team player and promote camraderie

Assist with training of new hires

Maintain product knowledge of retail operations and restocking

Bike fittings and maintenance

Promote and maintain the B/SPOKE aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture

 

 

MUST HAVE'S

 

Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment

Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities

Friendly and professional phone and email etiquette

Superior organizational skills

Be able to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends and some holidays

 

 

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

2 Shifts / Week

10 Hours / Week

4 Days of availability, including weekend day

Consistent availability

MUST BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE A VARIETY OF THE FOLLOWING SHIFT TIMES:

Monday through Friday

5am-8:45am, 5am-10:30am,  9am-1pm, 10:30am-4pm, 4pm-9:30pm

Saturday & Sunday

7am-12pm, 9am-3:15pm, 12pm-6:30pm

 

 

 

  

STUDIO LEADER

**Management Experience preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients at all times

Provide support to B/SPOKE Instructors and Front Desk Staff

Manage performance and punctuality of Front Desk Staff

Lead daily studio tasks and projects

Know hot to delegate and multitask

Maintain a high level product knowledge for all studio retail operations including class packages, promotions, and retail offerings

Assist with the training and coaching of new hires for the Front Desk Staff team

Attend management meetings and support the facilitation of staff meetings as requested

Attend studio events that promote brand awareness and team comraderie

Promote and maintain the B/SPOKE aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture
